Friendmas

Hosting parties has become one of my most favorite things. While my apartment is tiny, it's super cozy and tons of amazing memories were made here this year. From throwing themed movie nights to our annual Friendsgiving party, >see post here< I've had an absolute blast planning and putting them all together. I like to challenge myself to out-do the last party and they're becoming bigger and better. Next up on the list: our annual Christmas Party!

Since Christmas is a big holiday, I wanted to go all out. My goal was to create this magical winter wonderland for us to enjoy each other's company in. Instead of the classic Christmas reds and greens, I went with an iridescent, colorful palette and I really love how it turned out. Lights are always my go-to to cozy up a space so I made sure there were lots of them. I found this amazing giant ornament DIY on Pinterest,  >here< and it added that perfect whimsical touch. I always make sure to add a backdrop for all our photo ops and the long dinner table always makes a party feel more posh than it actually is.

We played card games and exchanged gifts and it was honestly one of the best nights of the year. I love these people with my whole heart and I'm so lucky to call them my friends. It's hard for us all to get together because of work and busy schedules so I really do appreciate the moments we can all be together under one roof.

How do you celebrate the holidays with your friends? Let me know!
Until next time,
Stay Wild
