With the temps in Southern California slowly, but surely, dropping, it's finally starting to feel like fall around here. We were blessed with a week of low-70's and while I know that it isn't much, I'll take it-- I even busted out a scarf over the weekend! It was a big deal.

My favorite part about fall is the level of cozy you can achieve-- it's the best right before it gets so cold that the only way to survive is laying under a mountain of blankets. (Californians don't know how to do winter). I started the fall overhaul with my bedroom. My room is my safe haven; the room in the house where I spend the most of my time. I want it to always feel inviting and cozy and I like to do that by creating a space I want to be in.

My favorite way to add coziness is to add lights...everywhere. Nothing relaxes me more than ambient lighting and soothing music. To add to the coziness, I've been playing fall and coffeehouse inspired playlists >here! & here!< on my new speaker my sister gifted me for my birthday. I've also been loving playing my favorite vinyls on my record player.

Sundays are for sleeping in and the fall brings the most magical mornings. To me, the best way to make a Sunday morning a little extra special is breakfast in bed. My favorite breakfast treat ever is waffles and because I've been obsessed with everything pumpkin this season, I decided to try out a recipe I found and fell in love > recipe here<

I can't wait for cozy mornings under my lights, listening to music or reading a new book, and continue to fall in love with fall. How do you like to cozy up your space and add some fall flair?

Until next time,
Stay Wild
