I've always had a gypsy's soul-- I'm the kind of person who is always looking for the next adventure in life. It fuels me, inspires me, and revives my passion for life and the world around me. I'm always on the lookout for something new and last week, that led me 2,000 miles away from home to Minnesota. Lucky for me, two of my best friends recently relocated to the area and were able to show me around. With so much changing in my life, it was the perfect blend of different and familiar I didn't know I so desperately needed.

The St. Paul/Minneapolis area is a wonderful mix of suburb meets city; there's coffee shops and cafes on every corner and the downtown area comes alive at night, all while being surrounded by beautiful lakes and nature. There's something for everyone and every day brought a new adventure. I had such an amazing time I didn't want to come home.

Trip Highlights:
1. Seeing Jeff & Josh: It had been too long. Waaay too long. Why do some of my closest friends have to live the farthest away?? :( --> Josh's Instagram & Jeff's Instagram

2. Oh Wonder Concert: The main reason for this trip was to see my favorite band, Oh Wonder, in concert. They've just recently started their second world tour and since Josh and I are obsessed with them, we thought it'd be fun for us to fly out to each other's cities to see them together. The concert was better than I could've ever imagined and I'm so happy we get to see them again next month!

3. Duluth: On one of the days we took a day trip out to Duluth, which is a cute little town right next to Lake Superior. It was small and quaint and I loved it. We took a tour of the Glensheen mansion/murder house which was equal parts gorgeous and eerie (aka, my favorite mix). Also, I was completely shocked by the size of Lake Superior-- it was massive and gorgeous and I couldn't help but fall in love with the scenery of it all.

4. Foshay Tower Observation Deck: I love a good city skyline-- it's probably one of, if not, my favorite view in the entire world. There's something so serene about looking out over a busy, bustling city from so high up; and let me tell you, from 31 stories high, downtown Minneapolis is a beaut.

5. Spyhouse Coffee: We spent quite a bit of time (like 4 hours on one day) between coffee shops over the week, but Spyhouse stole my heart. The coffee was delicious and the vibes were so perfect I was in love. The boys still had school going on so sitting in coffee shops, conversing over lattes while they worked on school stuff felt so normal and relaxing.

Like I said, this week absolutely amazing. I got to see two of my favorite people in the world and spend some much needed quality time with them and I got to go on some pretty fun adventures and explore some places I'd never been to.

Where to next? Until then,
Stay Wild xx
