Sundays are the best; they're made for sleeping in, brunch, and exploring with friends. Last Sunday, I got to do all three. The weather was beautiful so a few friends and I decided to spend our Sunday roaming LA and it led us to places we'd never visited before.

Brunch | Daily Dose Cafe
I had never been to Daily Dose but had heard lots of good reviews so we thought we'd give it a shot! The menu is small but there's something for everyone AND the outdoor seating area is so charming and ethereal-- you're literally surrounded by beautiful ivy-covered brick walls, sat under tons of string lights (seriously? it doesn't get better than that).

Walls| Dangerbird Records & Sam Smith
No LA trip is complete without visiting a wall (or two..or three). Our first stop was Dallas Clayton's wall outside of Dangerbird Records. I'd visited this wall before but when we heard he was literally on site painting his new wall, we booked it over as fast as we could. Not only did we get to watch him paint, we also got to chat a bit. We also visited the newly installed Sam Smith walls. They were both super cute but my favorite had to be the flower wall!

Sweet Treat | Mr. Holmes Bakehouse
So, I'm sure you've all seen this sweet bakehouse all over Instagram/Pinterest/Tumblr by now. I'd been dying to go and I'm so happy I finally did! The desserts? Delicious. The aesthetics? Perfection. There wasn't one thing  I didn't like about Mr. Holmes (except maybe that they close early & the parking sucks... but that's just LA for ya). 10/10 would recommend.

Museum | Museum of Neon Art
MoNA was another place I had on my list and while it wasn't my favorite, it was still fun checking it out. The Museum of Neon Art is exactly what it sounds like, a gallery filled with different neon art displays. While the art was cool to look at, I was a bit unimpressed with how tiny it was... BUT for $10 a person, it's worth a look.
