If you saw my last blog post, then you'll know I was prepping for the D23 Expo this weekend. The D23 Expo is a bi-annual convention where Disney fans from all over come together under one roof to experience all the magic Disney has to offer. At the expo, you get the insider scoop for all the new things coming to the Disney parks, films, and merchandise. I had an absolute blast this year and as exhausted as I am from it all, I am definitely experiencing post-con depression and already can't wait for the next expo in 2019!

My D23 expo highlights:

1. Disney Parks & Resorts Panel: This panel is the one everyone wants to get into and I feel so lucky that I was able to attend once again this year. Parks & resorts talks about all the new stuff coming to the Disney parks all over the world and boy is there a lot of new stuff coming soon. The big talking points were a more in-depth look into Star Wars Land and some of the plans for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World taking place in 2021. You can watch the full panel here!

2. Disney Latte Art: I am a huge coffee enthusiast and a huge Disney fan so when the two were combined I actually freaked out. Coffee artist, Michael Breach, had a table at the expo where he was doing Disney latte art over the weekend. I was truly amazed by his talent and literally hung out at his table forever just watching him. He even let me request an Aurora latte, as I was bounding her that day! His Instagram is @baristart if you want to check him out!

3. The Walt Disney Archives Exhibits: This year, Walt Disney Archives gave us a look into the world of Disney pirates. From their appearance in Peter Pan and Treasure Planet to the movie world of Pirates of the Caribbean, we got to get up close and personal with concept art, props, and costumes. Like yes, I got to literally walk up to the Captain Jack Sparrow costume that Johnny Depp wore in one of my all-time favorite movie series!

4. Minnie's Style: The Fashion of Minnie Mouse: I am obsessed with Minnie Mouse's fashion, she's so fabulous! She also has the biggest variety of dresses of any of the Disney characters. This exhibit had some of the dresses she's worn recently in the parks all around the world as well as some of the ones she wore to different fashion events like Rock the Dots!

Like I said, I am really sad to see another expo come and go, but I feel so lucky that I got to experience the magic the D23 Expo has to offer. It's definitely one of those feelings you only understand if you attend. I can't wait until the next expo in 2019, but until then I have the memories as well as the little video I put together and posted over on my youtube channel to reminisce!
